The riverside strip along the Spreebord was formerly part of the enclosed grounds of the Charlottenburg Combined Heat and Power Plant. As the power plant facilities were scaled back, the riverside path “Am Spreebord” was reopened to the public. A few elements documenting the site’s history punctuate the riverside path. The access points to the now-public area were redesigned with stairways and landings.
