At Bautech 2002, Eternit AG decided to host an evening event on the topic of building culture at the former Eternithaus in Berlin’s Tiergarten district. The setting was shaped by the venue itself, its location in the park, and the winter season. A construction-themed BBQ in the snow. A beach-like backdrop in February, designed as a walk-through sculpture to encourage casual conversation. Our perception associates certain forms of social communication with the seasons. This perceptual phenomenon formed the basis of our design. Through the staging, we conveyed an evocative atmosphere that defined the space. The facade materials on display were presented as adapted lounge chairs and were part of the staging.
